Our laundry adventures...

Having my two little eager aids help me with putting away clean laundry means that it takes about 3 times as long... Of course it also means that I can marvel in their world of imagination. This laundry basket may look like just that, but truly it isn't. I watched as it was transormed into a majestic swimming pool in which Mara-Grace and Hannah swam and put on shows for quite some time this morning! xo

Will I finish this post?!

Hello!

It seems that there truly are not enough hours in the day lately! Between life with our girls and packing, there really is not much of an opportunity to blog. One major change is the fact that the computer is in the basement.... Now that it is uncovered (pulled everything out of storage to sort and pack etc.)I will attempt this more often. I can hardly believe how quickly time is passing. I love to write with detail (perhaps I drone on a little?!) but fear that I will have to settle on quick recaps in order to actually get to post this post!

Here is a little recap of the last few weeks:

Easter was beautiful.... So incredible hugely because our Hannah Faith is home this year! I have loved watching her settle and grow into family life over the 4 months she has been home. She seemed to take all of the joy of Easter in. We decorated easter eggs and were able to decorate the house 1 week prior. Insert groan here.... How I disliked not being free to decorate for St. Patrick's Day and Easter as usual! I suppose though, there are greater worries in life!!!!! Anyway, we had the house offer the week before Easter so I got straight to it at that time!

We stayed the night before Easter at my parent's house (our new house... will I ever get used to this concept?!) and woke up bright and early on Easter Sunday. We went to Kevin's parents church for mass and had lunch with them and then supper with my side of our family. It was glorious to see everyone! Also, the weather was warm and bright and totally spring! Our girls woke up to discover maps that the Easter Bunny had left for them. They had a wonderful time with their Easter Egg hunt. Hannah's eyes were wide with wonder at the excitement and she quickly got into the swing of things filling her basket with the treats she discovered. The day was full of blessings! We even got a message that the buyers accepted our proposal! That was a lovely gift at the end of the day! So, it was official (pending their bank approval) that our house was sold and we would be sharing many years where we sat surrounded by love. I won't forget that moment when Kevin shared that news!

We celebrated Hannah's Christening on March 21st. It was a beautiful celebration except not without great concern. Thankfully, all has turned out well. Unfortunately, no one from my side of our family was able to be there. My parents and brother and his family are very special to us. So we missed them all a great deal. The night before Hannah's Christening, my brother Sean had to be taken to the hospital. He suffered a pulmonary embolism. Thank God he is fine now. Needless to say, given the circumstances, my parents were at the hospital etc. Even going through what he was, Sean called us that morning to say he so wished he could be here. I am so thankful for him in my life. I was very emotional on Hannah's Christening day and was fully aware of how precious life is. We missed all who couldn't be here, but knew they were in prayer and in heart. Fr. Jerome Christened Hannah and I am so thankful for this. He is a very special person to our family. We will miss our parish and our beloved Fr. Jerome immensely when we move. During the celebration, when Fr. Jerome was praying over Hannah, she cupped her hand in the palm of his hand and stayed that way for a few minutes. It was a very special moment in time.

Look at Hannah walking!!!!! She definitely has found her legs! Boy can she motor!!!!!! After Hannah Faith's Christening, we celebrated in the church hall. Victoria brought her boyfriend Angus along to meet everyone. What a brave boy! We had already had the pleasure of meeting Angus, but he came to Hannah's Baptism. Victoria and Angus did all of the balloons seen above. They were an amazing help that entire day! I loved watching Mara-Grace and Hannah playing with these balloons afterwards! Such fun! Hannah was changed out of her Christening gown into her party dress and I swear she would have yelled bring on the balloons if she could!

We are planning on moving in two steps. First on May 8th and then May 15th will be the final move... We registered Victoria on Friday at our old highschool. Where Kev and I were sweethearts! LOL How wonderful it was to see some old familiar faces! And funnily enough, our graduating pics were in the entrance! I love how things come full circle. Victoria seems excited about her new school and for this I am thankful!

Well, that is it for now! Much love xoxox
