Christmas thoughts...

Thinking of all those we have lost this year...

Our many memories and thoughts are with Gran as we celebrate our first Christmas without her here in person. I know she is watching over us with her undying love.

It brings great comfort and joy thinking of you, Gran celebrating Christmas this year with all those in your family that you were so lonesome for for so many years. We love and miss you Gran xo

Here is a poem my mom will be reading at Christmas this year...

Christmas in Heaven

I see the countless Christmas trees, around the world below, With tiny lights, like heaven's stars, reflecting on the snow.

This sight is so spectacular, please wipe away that tear, For I am spending Christmas, with Jesus Christ this year.

I hear the many Christmas songs, that people hold so dear, But the sound of music can't compare with the Christmas choir up here. For I have no words to tell you, the joy their voices bring, For it's beyond description to hear an angel sing.

I know how much you miss me, I see the pain inside your heart, But I am not so far away, we are really not apart.

So be happy for me, dear ones, you know I hold you dear, And be glad I'm spending Christmas, with Jesus Christ this year.

I send you each a special gift, from my heavenly home above, I send you each a memory, of my undying love.

For after all "Love" is the gift, more precious than pure gold, It was always most important, in the stories Jesus told.

So please love and help each other, as my Father said to do, For I cannot count the blessings, or the love He has for you.

So have a Merry Christmas, and wipe away that tear, For I am spending Christmas, with Jesus Christ this year.

I can't tell you of the splendor, or the peace here in this place, Can you imagine Christmas, with our Savior, face to face?

I'll ask Him to lift your spirit, as I tell Him of your love, So then pray for one another, as you lift your eyes above.

So please let your hearts be joyful, and let your spirits sing, For I am spending Christmas in heaven, and I'm walking with the King!

Holiday Cheer

The last time I wrote, I mentioned being on our way to meet with our travel group from our trip for Hannah. What a wonderful time it was seeing everyone, most especially our beautiful girls one year later... We will forever have a special bond with these other families. We looking forward to many more reunions! xoxo

The countdown is definitely ON!!!!! We are all so excited for Christmas! The anticipation and preparation for this incredible time is absolutely magical. Although this time of year can be a little daunting in respect to all of the preps, it is such a wonderful honor to witness the excitement and magic of this season. I hope that as a family, we are fully prepared, and that we all have the true meaning of Christmas close in our minds and hearts.

A proud Mama Moment coming!

(Victoria is center, with clipboard)
As mentioned, Victoria played the role of Louise in her school play, "Epic Proportions". This play was reviewed by critics who had this to say today in the city's paper!

"Louise Goldman, the love interest of both brothers and the film’s supervisor, was masterfully brought to life by Victoria B, who exhibited the complexity behind her character. On the surface, Louise was a put-together woman with her life in line, as shown through Bs precise enunciations and commanding voice. But in reality, she was unsure of herself and her true desires. Faced with the dilemma of choosing either Benny or Phil, B effectively displayed the emotional side of Louise and her inner instability."
