What a great time we are having !

I am astonished at all of the little details Mara-Grace remembers about being here! She reminded me of the time we ate Smarties here and she sucked it until it was white and I didn't recognize it and thought she found something on the ground! Wow! And then when we got on the walkway she pointed out the Birch trees as we used to always do!

Hannah has begun to relax and trust that none of the animals here bite! Poor baby girl would ask with almost all animals! "mama I know bears, bears bite me?". Good Lord!

I love to watch Mara-Grace and Hannah loving their babies... They spend hours together playing with their dolls. Definitely special times. Xo

Who knew our girls would be in an airplane traveling to Disney today? Oh how I love their imaginations ! Xo

Prom!

Victoria celebrated her prom this past Tuesday.  Our house has been in a flurry of activity leading up to this day for the obvious reasons, but also because we were hosting pre-prom pictures at our house.  Kev has been so busy at work, and desperately trying to finish the deck he has built since our pool was installed.   Despite the forecast of winds gusting to 50 km, we had beautiful weather.  Clear skies, and no wind!  Thank God!  I truly believe my Gran was looking over all of us that day. 

After pictures at our home, where the limo picked everyone up, they made two other stops for pictures and then on to the actual prom.  I met the limo at the end of the evening and then drove Victoria and a few friends home to change, and made them them some food and then to After-Prom.  Everyone arrived home safe and sound the next day. 

Victoria has a boyfriend (Trevor), but went to her prom with a very dear friend (Alex).  Everyone looked so lovely!

Farewell to Highschool! Hello College in the Fall!

Victoria's highschool graduation ceremony was last night.  We took pictures and visited with Victoria's girlfriends and their families at her friend,Allie's house .  Then we headed off to the ceremony at the highschool.  My parents, Kev's parents and Victoria's God-parents all came with us.  Olivia and her friend babysat our girls for the first time! (All went really well)  As I sat and listened to the presentations and speeches,  I really couldn't believe how far our Victoria has come.  It literally seems like yesterday that she started Kindergarten and was so heartsick!  I pictured her little face pressed up to the fence each day as I waved around that corner!  Where did the time go? 

I looked at all of the graduates and felt a wave of concern as to what lies ahead for them.  I also felt excitement thinking the same thought.  Their possibilites are endless!  I pray for their health, happiness, courage and success in making their dreams reality.  xox
